INSTRUCTION MANUAL | UNIVERSAL BATTERY CHARGER
THANK YOU for purchasing the DÖRR Universal Battery Charger.
Please read these instructions carefully to enjoy the use of the device at its maximum.
SAFETY HINTS
1. Do not charge NiMH and NiCd rechargeable batteries at the same time.
2. This product is designed for rechargeable NiMH and NiCd batteries only. Do not charge
any primary alkaline, zinc chloride, or zinc carbon type batteries.
3. Do not charge leaking, corroded or defect batteries.
4. Do not expose the charger to rain or moisture.
5. Do not operate the charger using an extension cord.
6. Do not use the charger if it has been dropped or damaged.
7. Do not attempt to repair charger by yourself. When service or repair is required, contact
qualifi ed service personnel.
8. Always disconnect from power supply when not in use or if you want to clean the
device.
9. Never use aggressive cleansing agents or benzine to clean the device. We recommend
a soft microfi ber cloth to clean the outer parts.
10. Store the charger in a cool and dry place when not in use.
11. Keep away from children.
BATTERY HINTS
Only use high-quality batteries of popular brands. When inserting the batteries, please note
correct polarity. Please remove batteries when device is not in use for a longer period. Do
not try to short-circuit the batteries or throw into fi re - risk of explosion! In case of contact
with battery acid rinse the aff ected area immediately with water and contact a doctor. Do not
dispose of batteries in household waste.
HOW TO USE
1. Insert 2 or 4 AA or AAA or 1 or 2 9V batteries according to the polarity marking in the
battery compartment

Plug the charger into the wall AC outlet. The red LED indicator will light up to indicate
the charging mode.
3. After each charging process (charging time approx 14-16 hours) take the charger from
the power supply and remove the charged batteries.
