SAFETY ELECTRIC STEERING
This switch is used to test whether the emergency steering system is functioning
properly�
Manual test procedure:
•
Do not start engine�
•
Press emergency steering test switch and turn steering wheel at the same time�
•
If system is functioning properly, the unit should steer�
•
If unit does not steer, do not operate machine until problem is solved�
Automatic test:
•
System automatically tests the hydraulic oil pressure in the emergency steering
system lines� Emergency warning light on the dashboard will light for about 3
seconds when you switch ignition key to position ‘I’ (ON)�
RECOMMENDATION FOR USE
•
If the emergency steering indicator light turns on while operating, immediately
stop operation�
•
Do not press this switch continuously = will cause heavy battery discharge�
