STEP 5: DOWNLOAD THE DOORBIRD APP AND ONLINE CHECK
Download the “DoorBird” App by Bird Home Automation onto your mobile
device from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can always find the
most up-to-date version of the App manual on www.doorbird.com/support.
If you use WiFi to connect the device to your Internet router (not a
network cable), open the DoorBird App and select ” > Wifi Setup“
and follow the instructions.
When you have finished the WiFi setup or connected the device to your
Internet router via network cable, check on the website www.doorbird.com/
checkonline if your device is online. If the device is not online, check the
network connection and power supply.
STEP 6: CONNECTION TO THE INDOOR STATION
Open the DoorBird App ” > Administration“. In the ”Administrator Username“
field, click the QR Code icon. Scan the QR Code ”App administrator username“
on the enclosed ”Digital Passport“. You will now be asked for the manufacturer
and model number of your indoor station. Follow the steps in the app to
connect the device to the indoor station.
STEP 7: ADD THE DEVICE TO THE APP
After successfully setting up the indoor station, navigate in the DoorBird App
to ” > Add user“ and click on the QR Code icon in the App User field. Scan
the QR code ”App user“ on the enclosed ”Digital Passport“. The DoorBird D301
is now ready for use.
