Donkervoort cars come equipped with a fabric roof as standard. This roof can be
folded to be placed in the trunk of the car. When installed correctly, the roof can
be used at all speeds. Please note that the light weight of the car and the absence of
electronic assistances make rain driving more demanding for the driver. Please
always drive carefully and adapt your speed to the weather conditions.
To mount the roof, please follow the following instructions:
Open the doors of the car halfway and leave them in this position during the
complete mounting process.
Install the carbon roof supports. First insert the pin at the front of the support in
the windscreen frame and then lay the back of the support around the rollbar and
on the B pillar.
Lay the roof on the roof supports and insert the plastic lip at the front of the roof
in the split between the windscreen frame and the windscreen. Secure the snap
buttons on both side of the windscreen support.
Secure the snaps buttons that link the tension bar to the rollbar. Push the tension
bar upwards until the straps are stretched, then pull the roof downwards and
secure the two snap buttons on both sides of the central brake light.
Secure the 4 snap buttons on each side of the roof.
When closing the doors, the the roof will fold around the upper part of the door and
seal the door opening. To dismount the roof follow the mounting instructions back-
wards.
