Charging the robot

There are two ways to charge the battery:
• using the home base (Figure 1).
• using the power adapter (Figure 2).
NOTE:
• Before using the robot for the first time, you must charge it for at least 12 hours.
It will only need to be charged for between 250 and 300 minutes thereafter.
• The robot must be switched on while it is being charged.
• The robot is charging when the orange AUTO light flashes slowly. Once charged,
the AUTO and Random mode lights turn steady green.
• If the robot is away from its home base and is inactive, it switches to standby
after around 10 minutes. The green indicator lights turn off.
• If the battery is weak while the robot is cleaning, it returns to its home base. The
home base must therefore be switched on.
• If the robot is not used for a long period of time, you are recommended to fully
charge the battery, switch off the robot and store it in a cool, dry place.
