Using the Door Airing Function

Proceed as follows to use the door airing function:

Defrost the refrigerator (see chapter “Defrosting the refrigerator” on page 24).
➤
At the top and bottom of the door in the area of the locking mechanism, pull the
hook all the way out (fig.
).
➤
Close the refrigerator door until the protruding pin snaps into the hook

The protruding pin snaps into the hook.
Deactivating the door airing function
➤
Pull the door toward you.
➤
Push in the protruding hooks at the top and bottom of the door.
CAUTION!
The airing function must
not
be used while driving.
Ensure that the refrigerator door and the freezer compartment door are
closed and locked before starting to drive.
NOTICE!
Use the door airing function, if you do not intend to use the refrigerator
for a prolonged period of time. This prevents mould from forming when
the refrigerator is not in use or put into storage.
