6.1
Energy saving tips
•
Choose a well ventilated location which is protected from direct sunlight.
•
Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the cooling device to
keep cool.
•
Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
•
Do not leave the cooling device open for longer than necessary.
6.2
Switching on the cool box

Place the coolbox on a firm base.

Connecting to 230 V

➤
Connect the 230 V connection cable to the power adapter.
➤
Plug the other end of the 230 V connection cable into the socket at the cool box.
➤
Connect the power adapter to a socket.

The power adapter‘s LED glows green.
Connecting to 12 V

➤
Plug one end of the 12 V connection cable into the socket of the cool box.
➤
Connect the other end of the 12 V connection cable to the cigarette lighter in
your vehicle (fig.

, page 3).
Switching on the cool box
➤
Push the switch on the operating panel (fig.
2
C, page 3) into
the “HEISS/HOT” position or the “KALT/COLD” position to switch the coolbox
on.

The cool box starts cooling/heating the interior.
NOTE
The plug’s polarity cannot be reversed: it can only be inserted into the
socket in one direction (fig.

A, page 3).
