Couplings.
Vibration may cause failure if a quick change coupling is connected directly to the tool. To
overcome this, connect a leader hose to the tool. A quick change coupling may then be used to
connect the leader hose to the air line recoil hose.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Lubricate the gears using a grease gun to insert the gun nozzle into the lubricating valve and
several drops of grease are recommended for lubrication. This will protect the gears in good
rotating condition and last the tool life.
NOTE: The machine gears should be lubricated once every working day.
2. Mount a sanding paper onto the Velcro face of the sanding pad.
3. Remove the air cap from the tool air inlet and connect the air supply hose to the toolset the air
pressure at 90 psi.
4. Push forward the throttle lever lock and press down on the throttle lever. How far the throttle
lever is pressed determines the tool rotation speed. Then the tool starts to work.
REPLACEMENT OF SANDING PAD:
1. Disconnect the tool from the air supply.
2. Rotate by hand the orbit and find the installation hole of the orbit wheel from the hole of the
front sleeve. Then insert the rod into the installation hole. Hold the rod firmly while releasing
sanding pad at counter clockwise. Re-mount a new sanding pad at clockwise by still holding the
rod firmly. Make sure the sanding pad is mounted onto the tool tightly and securely.
MAINTANANCE:
WARNING: Disconnect sander from air supply before changing accessories, servicing or
performing maintenance. Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorized
parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
1. If the air supply does not have an oiler lubricate the air sander daily with a few drops of dom
tool oil dripped in to the air inlet to prolong its life.
2. Clean the sander after use.
3. Loss of power or erratic action may be due to the following.
a) Excessive drain on the air line. Moisture or restriction in the air pipe. Incorrect size or type of
hose connectors.
b) Grit or gum deposits in the tool may also reduce performance.
4. When not in use, disconnect from air supply, clean sander and store in a safe and dry location.
