7.15 Noise

Floor

Optimization

The Noise Floor Optimization feature provides improved dynamic range in certain
specialized installations. It works by adjusting for any unused headroom in the
B-chain EQ, lowering the noise floor by that amount.

Note

: When Noise Floor Optimization is enabled, a fader setting other than 7 can

cause signal clipping.

Press the left menu button to move to the
Noise Floor Optimization screen.

The Noise Floor Optimization feature can be
previewed by enabling and disabling it before
saving.

Rotating the front-panel knob will switch the
selection between Enabled and Disabled.

Note:

The default setting is Disabled.

Press the OK menu button to save the setting.
