Connecting HomeDock HD Using s-Video or rCa Connections
Plug the included aC Power adapter into the back of the HomeDock HD Base, and the other end into

any available aC power outlet.
Plug an s-Video cable or the included aV Cable into the Composite Video Output jack on the back of

the HomeDock HD Base.
Plug the other end of the s-Video into the corresponding s-Video input on your TV or home stereo, or

the included aV Cable into the rCa inputs on your TV or home stereo.
If using s-Video, plug the appropriate audio cable (available separately) into the Digital audio Output

jack on the back of the HomeDock HD Base. If using the included aV Cable, plug the audio connec-
tions into the rCa audio Output jacks on the back of the HomeDock HD Base. Be sure to match the
colors of the cable to the color of the corresponding jack (red = right, white = left).
Plug the other end of the digital audio cable or rCa audio cable into the corresponding jack on your

TV or home stereo. Be sure to note which inputs you are using on your TV or home stereo.
Turn on your HomeDock HD with the included remote Control. Turn on your TV and/or home stereo

and then select the correct input(s) for HomeDock HD.
NOTE:
If you are using HomeDock HD with just your home stereo connected, be sure to switch to iPod Mode
by pressing the Mode Button on the remote Control. This will allow you to control your iPod with the remote
Control, and to select and play music through your home stereo or even a powered-speaker setup without
having a TV connected.
