BASS
If you would like to boost the low frequencies, repeatedly press the
BASS
button.
Press the button again to deactivate this function. Again, the first time you press this
button, the current setting will be displayed.
Switching off
To switch the unit off, press the VOLUME knob on the front panel or press the
button on the remote control. As this doesn’t disconnect the device from the mains
you should switch off the mains switch on the rear panel if you’re not going to use
the device for a longer period of time. In this case the clock time is not saved. After
switching on the device you have to reset the clock.
Playback of USB / SD/MMC Flash Memory
The system is equipped with a card slot for SD and MMC flash memory
cards as well as a USB port. You can use these interfaces to play files in MP3
and WMA format.
It cannot be guaranteed, however, that all MP3 and
WMA files are played by every USB/SD/MMC memory device. That
is due to the different specifications and manufacturers of storage media,
PC models and operating systems. The playback of files from hard drives
that are connected to the USB port is not possible. If you try nevertheless
there is the danger of data loss for which we cannot be held liable in any
way!
In the following the numbers of the folders and titles allocated by the device are
derived from the point in time of their recording.
Ø
If necessary, press the
FUNCTION
button repeatedly until “
SD/MMC
” (card
operation) or “
UDISC
” (USB operation) is displayed.
Ø
Connect the USB memory medium with the USB port or insert a SD or MMC card
with the labelled side upwards in the card slot until it clicks into position.
Ø
The playback starts automatically. Title number, running time and ID3 tags
(information about the singer and title name stored with the file) are displayed.
Ø
By shortly pressing the

or
:
button you can select the next or previous title
during playback. The display shows your choice. Keeping one of these buttons
pressed will activate the search (playback with high speed). If the desired
position is reached let go of the button. The playback will then be continued with
normal speed. The sound is muted while searching.
Ø
If the files are stored in several sub directories (folders) press the
FOLDER
button in order to play the files in the next folder. The playback is then continued
with the first title in the selected folder.
Ø
If you press the
P+/RPT
button once during playback the
symbol appears in
the display and the title playing will be repeated when it has finished.
Pressing the button twice will start the A-B section repetition.
A is displayed
and marks the beginning of the section. Press P+/RPT again in order to mark the
end of the section.
B is displayed and the marked section is repeated until you
press P+/RPT once more.
