Operation of the clock radio

General operation

Switching on

First switch the mains switch on the unit's rear panel to the "I" position. The device is
now in standby mode and the display will be illuminated by dim blue light.
To turn the system on, press

button on the front panel or on the remote control.

The blue display will then brightly be illuminated and the system is working. You can
change the mode by pressing the

FUNCTION

button repeatedly:

TUNER

-

UDISK

(USB flash media) -

SD/MMC

(memory card) -

AUX

Setting the time

1. To do this, press the

ENTER

button once. “

CLOCK

” will then show. Press the

4;

button on the remote control, then the hour digits will start to flash.

2. Now you can enter the actual hours in the present time using the

buttons.

To confirm, press

4;

on the remote. Then the minute digits will start to flash.

3. Now you can set the minutes of the actual time using

on the remote. The time is now saved.

Changing the volume

To increase the volume, turn the

VOL

knob in a clockwise direction. To reduce the

volume, turn the knob in the opposite direction. Alternatively, you can also regulate
the volume using the

VOL +

buttons on the remote control. To mute the

volume, press

. Press the button again to turn the volume back on

EQ presets

We have programmed some EQ sound settings into the system which you can call up
for the music you are playing. Press

EQ

repeatedly to activate the following

settings:

ROCK

,

JAZZ

,

CLASSIC

,

POP

, . The first time you press this button, the current

setting will be displayed. FLAT stands for “neutral”.

Headphone operation

You can connect a headphone to the EARPHONES jack on the rear panel of the
device using a 3.5mm jack plug. This deactivates the built-in speaker.

Be careful with regard to your hearing. A too high volume may lastingly
impair the hearing ability of your ears.

BASS

If you would like to boost the low frequencies in 3 levels, repeatedly press the

BASS

button. Press the button again to deactivate this function.

Switching off

To switch the unit off, press the

button. As this doesn’t disconnect the device from

the mains you should switch off the mains switch on the rear panel if you’re not
going to use the device for a longer period of time. In this case the clock time is not
saved. After switching on the device you have to reset the clock.
