General operation
Setting the time
You can set the time in standby mode.
1. To do this, press
CLOCK/MEMORY
for 3 seconds. “
24 HOUR
” will then show, indicating
that the time is displayed in 24-hour mode.
2. If you want the time to be displayed in 12-hour mode, press either the
9
or
:
button. To
confirm, press CLOCK/MEMORY.
3. In the display, “
00:00
” will be displayed and you can enter the actual hours in the present
time using the
9
/
:
buttons. To confirm, press CLOCK/MEMORY.
4. Now you can set the minutes of the actual time using
9
/
:
. To confirm, press
CLOCK/MEMORY. The time is now saved.
Switching on
To turn the system on, press
STANDBY/ON
or the POWER button on the remote control.
The blue display is now illuminated and the system is working. You can change the mode by
pressing the
FUNCTION
button repeatedly.
Changing the volume
To increase the volume, turn the volume knob in a clockwise direction. To reduce the
volume, turn the knob in the opposite direction. Alternatively, you can also regulate the
volume using the
VOL-UP
/
DN
buttons on the remote control. To mute the volume, press
MUTE
. Press the button again to turn the volume back on
Default sound settings
We have programmed various default sound settings into the system which you can call up
for the music you are playing. Press
EQ
repeatedly to activate the following settings:
CLASSIC
,
ROCK
,
POP
,
JAZZ
. The first time you press this button, the current setting will be displayed.
PASS stands for “passive” (neutral).
Headphone operation
You can connect a headphone to the phones jack on the front panel of the device using a
3.5mm jack plug. This deactivates the connected speakers.
Be careful with regard to your hearing. A too high volume may lastingly impair the
hearing ability of your ears.
DBBS
If you would like to boost the low frequencies, press the
DBBS
button. Press the button
again to deactivate this function.
Switching off
To switch the unit off, press the STANDBY/ON switch or the POWER button. As this doesn’t
disconnect the device from the mains you should unplug the power chord if you’re not going
to use the micro system for a longer period of time.
