APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before applying the brace, please read these instructions completely and carefully.Correct application is vital to the proper functioning of the brace.
INTENDED USER PROFILE:
The intended user should be a licensed medical professional, the patient or the patient’s caregiver. The user should be able to read, understand and be
physically capable of performing the directions, warnings and cautions in the information for use.
INDICATIONS:
This CTS Wrist Brace is designed for immobilisation of the wrist while allowing the fingers to move free. It provides wrist support and ideal for Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), wrist sprains, wrist strains and wrist tendonitis (Tenosynovitis). The support can also be used to help reduce pain while recovering
from injuries as well as help to prevent any further injuries.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:
• Soft-good/ semi-rigid designed to restrict motion through elastic or semi-rigid construction.
• Providing mild compression of limb or body segment through elastic construction.
• Providing immobilization or controlled movement of the limb or body segment.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
None.
APPLICATION INFORMATION:
USE AND CARE:
Hand wash in cold water using mild soap, rinse thoroughly. AIR DRY. Note: If not rinsed thoroughly, residual soap may cause irritation and
deteriorate material.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
•
Neoprene supports should not be worn by individuals with known susceptibility to dermatitis or allergies to neoprene by products.
•
We recommend that the first application be made under supervision of a health care professional.
•
Do not use over open wounds.
•
If pain, swelling, changes in sensation or other unusual reactions occur while using this product, you should contact your doctor immediately.
•
If you have skin disorders/injuries in the relevant part of the body, the product should be fitted and worn only after consultation with a medical
professional.
•
Do not use this device if it was damaged and/or package has been opened.
NOTE:
Contact manufacturer and competent authority in case of a serious incident arising due to usage of this device.
WARRANTY:
DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of the unit and its accessories for material or workmanship defects for a period of six months from
the date of sale.

INDICAZIONI:
Questo tutore per polso per la sindrome del tunnel carpale è concepito per immobilizzare il polso e consentire alle dita di muoversi liberamente. Sostiene
il polso ed è ideale per il trattamento della sindrome del tunnel carpale, distorsioni, stiramenti e tendiniti del polso (tenosinoviti). Il supporto può anche
essere utilizzato come coadiuvante della riduzione del dolore durante il recupero da infortuni e per prevenire ulteriori lesioni.
CARATTERISTICHE PRESTAZIONALI:
• Progettato nella modalità soft-good/semirigida per limitare il movimento attraverso una struttura elastica o semirigida.
• Il prodotto esercita una leggera compressione del segmento del corpo o dell’arto grazie alla struttura elastica.
• Fornisce immobilizzazione o movimento controllato dell’arto o del segmento del corpo.

INFORMAZIONI SULL’APPLICAZIONE:
USO E MANUTENZIONE:
lavare a mano in acqua fredda con sapone neutro e risciacquare abbondantemente. LASCIARE ASCIUGARE ALL’ARIA. Nota: se il prodotto non viene
risciacquato a fondo, il sapone residuo potrebbe causare irritazione della cute e deterioramento del materiale.
AVVERTENZE E PRECAUZIONI:

I supporti in neoprene non devono essere indossati da individui soggetti a dermatite o con allergie note ai derivati del neoprene.
• È consigliata la supervisione di un professionista sanitario nel corso della prima applicazione sul paziente.
• Non usare su ferite aperte.
• In caso di dolore, gonfiore, variazioni di sensibilità o altre reazioni insolite durante l’uso del prodotto, contattare immediatamente il medico.
• Se si verificano disturbi/lesioni cutanee nella parte del corpo interessata, il prodotto deve essere applicato e indossato solo dopo aver consultato
un medico.
• Non usare questo dispositivo se risulta danneggiato e/o se la confezione è stata aperta.
NOTA:
contattare il produttore e l’autorità competente in caso di gravi incidenti dovuti all’uso di questo dispositivo.
GARANZIA:
DJO, LLC si impegna alla riparazione o alla sostituzione di tutti i componenti del dispositivo e dei relativi accessori in caso di difetti nella
lavorazione e nel materiale rinvenuti entro sei mesi dalla data di acquisto.
