1. Disconnect power.
2. Clean away any corrosion from the terminals.
3. Install the Compressor Repair Kit on the damaged terminals
and tighten the set screw with the enclosed allen wrench.
4. For non-burned terminals, install the Compressor Repair Kit so
that the set screw sits on the flat portion of the male clip.
Tighten firmly.
5. Ensure that all terminal set screws are seated into posts and
then install the provided arc protector. This will prevent arcing
in high humidity conditions.
6. Route wires away from terminals to prevent a short condition.
Compressor Repair Kits will prevent future burn offs
from a non-burned terminal and repair burned or
damaged terminals. For a non-burned terminal,
push or lightly tap on the repair kit to snug it into
place over the terminal. Ensure a solid connection
for best results.
