Introduction:
Many Corvette Owners looking to connect and play Apple iPod device to the
factory radio will be pleased to find the PXDP-C5. This adapter allows users to
play and charge their Apple iPod and control select functions from the radio
buttons. The PXDP-C5 uses the changer port on radio so any 12-disc changer in
trunk or hatch must be disconnecting.
The PXDP-C5 connects at the radio or 10-pin CD changer plug in trunk or hatch
in
1997-04 Corvette C5 and requires disconnected the 12-disc changer,
but with the storage capacity of most Apple iPod devices, sacrificing the CD
changer should be an easy decision.

Disconnect factory 20-pin plug from radio (See
Fig. 1

switches #3 and #8 are set to “ON” (See

connector on Module

Connect dock cable 8-pin plug to Module 8-pin connector (See

Route 30-pin dock (See

) to front of the dash or location where
audio device will reside (within 10 ft.)
