Securely install lightning plug and cable in a location away from heat,
humidity, moving parts, or sharp metal objects.
Damage to lightning
plug may occur if subject to abuse.
Test Operation
1.
Turn ignition and
radio “ON”
2.
Connect Apple IOS device to lightning plug
3.
Apple device should begin charging
4.
Press
“CD”
button on radio.
5.
Select music track using device built-in controls.
Playlist and Track selection is *NOT* possible from the radio
You must use the iPod built-in controls to access music files.
6.
Audio device should now be heard on car speakers
7.
If successful go ahead and Reinstall the Radio
Important Notes:
1. Vehicle must have a CR1 or CR2 radio. (NOT for CD-1, CD-2 or CD-3)
2. CD changer (if present) must be permanently disconnected.
