Configuration:
The DMC will run a power-‐on test, during which time the display on the unit will scroll “
DISASTER AREA
” and
the LEDs on the controller will flash. The pedal will then display its firmware revision.
In order to configure the DMC for your MIDI devices, please press and hold the center button on the controller
(upper-‐right button on the DMC-‐4 Gen2) at boot. The display will scroll “
SETUP
” and the pedal will enter setup
mode. Once the controller has entered setup mode, the buttons on the controller will change the available
settings.
Holding the left button and the mode button at boot will factory-‐reset your controller.

Tap to change the expression jack assignment:

Expression pedal input (requires expression pedal)

Tap Tempo input (requires momentary switch)

Hold to save and exit setup mode.
Button 1 (Left Button)
Tap to change the scrolling mode behavior:
BN
Scrolling mode sends bank up / down messages for Strymon devices
PROG
Scrolling mode sends program change messages, works with all devices
Hold and release to select the available looper modes:
LOFF
No looper modes enabled, scrolling modes only
L1
Looper transport mode only
L2
Looper transport and FX modes only
L3
All looper modes (transport, FX, and volume) available
Button 2 (Right Button)
Tap to change the looper transport behavior:
PLAY
Tapping the play button in looper transport mode restarts the loop. Hold play to stop.
STOP
Tapping the play button in looper transport mode stops the loop if playing.
Hold and release to select the Combo Device:
OFF
No Combo Device. Only one scrolling mode will be available
