5.3 If the appliance is defective
If the power cord of the appliance is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their
authorised service representative, or a simi-
larly qualified person to avoid danger.
Bring or send defective appliances to a spe-
cialist dealer or to Dirt Devil Customer Servic-
es for repair (

5.4 Disposal
Electrical waste may not be dis-
posed of together with domestic
waste. Use local old-appliance
collection points instead.
Dispose of the appliance in compliance with
the environmental protection laws of your
country.
5.5 Warranty
The statutory warranty regulations in accord-
ance with the EU Directive 1999/44/EC apply.
In non-EU countries the minimum require-
ments of the warranty in the respective coun-
try apply.
