Step 4 -
Select Connect Now , then Continue ; the Setup:
Wireless Connection screen will display.
Step 5 -
If supported by your WiFi router, choose Push Button
Setup (also known as WPS) and the connection will complete;
otherwise go to Step 5a below for Manual Setup .
Step 5a -
Manual Setup Option
From the Setup:
Wireless Connection
screen,
select
Manual
Setup . Your HR44 will detect wireless networks within range
and list them on the screen. (This can take a few minutes.)
Select the target network that displays in the list.
Use the RIGHT ARROW button and select
Continue .
Input your wireless router’s password.
Use the RIGHT ARROW button and select
Continue .
The wireless connection between your wireless router and
your DIRECTV
®
HR44 HD DVR should now be active.
Select Done to complete the manual setup process.
