7.7 Inline Filter

7.7.1 Replacing the Inline Filter (ISO-3100)

Tip:

When you loosen or tighten capillaries on the inline-filter, hold the filter with
the open-end wrench (size 13 mm) to prevent the filter from turning in the
mounting bracket.

Disconnect the capillary on the filter inlet and filter outlet.

Remove the inline filter from the mounting bracket by pulling the filter toward you.

Insert the new inline filter into the bracket and reconnect the capillaries to the filter
inlet and outlet.

After you have replaced the inline filter, update the related service information in
Chromeleon. To do so, perform the

MixerFritChanged

command (



page 91).

In Chromeleon, verify that the

StaticMixer

property is set to

150 µL

. If the property

is not set to the correct value, the leak tests (



page 93) may not provide reliable

results.
