1. Installation
1.1. Turn ignition off.
1.2. Plug the white 4 pin female plug into the
white 4 pin male plug of Rapid Bike
harness marked as
USB
.
1.3. Connect the red wire to a switched 12V source using the provided
posi-tap.
Do not
connect the red wire directly to the positive side of the battery.
The red wire on the black 3 pin plug of the Rapid Bike harness marked as
AUX IN
is a reliable 12V source.
1.4. Fasten the BlueBike adapter to the bike by means of the provided
Velcro
.
2. Pairing
The following procedure must be performed the first time BlueBike has to be paired with a new
Bluetooth device. After that, they connect automatically.
For further information
follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your device and operating system
for pairing Bluetooth devices.
2.1. Turn ignition on.
2.2. Turn on Bluetooth feature on your Bluetooth device.
TIP:
The Bluetooth menu is usually found in the Settings menu
.
2.3. Select BlueBike adapter from the device list.
2.4. Enter the passkey if prompted.
TIP:
Passkey can be found on a white stick closed to
the white 4 pin female plug. It is same number of
serial number.
NOTE:
Devices with Bluetooth 3.0 and further may not
prompt you for a passkey.
2.5. Bluetooth device will confirm once BlueBike adapter has been paired.
2.6. Turn ignition off.
