The external infrared spotlight improves the night vision function of available
cameras over a distance of up to 50 meters. Objects within the camera range can
thus be illuminated and recognized more clearly at night. The infrared spotlight has a
beam angle of 30° and uses the 850nm band for infrared illumination. The strength
of the illumination can be adjusted by means of the integrated light sensor, from
which the infrared spotlight should come on stream. The spotlight is developed for
use outdoors in accordance with the IP66 standard and can be operated within a
temperature range of -20°C to 50°C. The intensity of the infrared spotlight can be
adjusted by means of a knurled screw so that it does not lead to excessive
illumination independent of the application during use. The spotlight is mounted by
means of a u-beam. For the power supply, a 12V/DC power pack with an exterior
diameter of 5.5mm and an inner diameter of 2.1mm and an external negative pole is
required.
