Removing the System Unit Cover

Removing the System Unit Cover

Turn Off the
System

After shutting down the operating system and recording

the VAXstation 3100 system information, turn the system

peripherals off in the following order:
1. Expansion boxes
2. Printer, modem, and other equipment
3. Monitor
4. System unit

Disconnect the
Cables

Disconnect the cables shown in Figure 1–2 from the back of the

system unit.
