Mix It Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1.

Do I need to use the Mix It Plug-In installed on page 9 in order to use my music
files on my Mix Max?

No, you do not. However, if you do not first analyze your music files using the Mix
It Plug-In, you will not be able to take advantage of the Mix It features on the Mix
Max. If your files have not been analyzed, your tracks will play at random.

Can I purchase Mix It ready songs?

Yes, Disney SD memory cards with “Mix It Ready” indicated on the packaging will
take advantage of the Mix It technology automatically.

Do I have to use “Extended Analysis” in order to use my files on my Mix Max?

No, you do not. The initial analysis done by the Plug-In will typically ensure all of
your tracks are Mix It ready.

4.

I accidentally closed the Mix It Plug-In; how can I re-open it?

If you created a shortcut on your Desktop, Quick Launch bar or Start menu during
the installation process, you can simply use the shortcut. If you wish to open the
Plug-In from within Windows Media Player, click “Tools” and then “Plug-ins”. The
Mix It Plug-In will be available there.

5.

Do I need to do anything when I add or remove songs from my Windows Media
Player library?

No, the Plug-In will automatically find new songs you add (by either dragging or
dropping them into your Windows Media Player library, or through a different
method) automatically.
