Otherwise the interface and all connected components can be destroyed! Steering wheel remote control will
only be adapted when it was originally built in and communicates via CAN data bus with the OEM radio. If the
car is delivered without radio or without preparation for radio, the CAN data bus may first be programmed via
diagnosis with radio functions from an authorized dealer. Otherwise the CAN interface may not work properly.
The CAN Bus device is an interface which reads out afterwards described data from the CAN-protocol of a car,
needed e.g. by the navigation systems. Its’ installation in a car means an important interference into a complex
system which we as a supplier of the above mentioned unit do not know very well. We cannot guarantee that
picking off data from the CAN Bus system may not influence other electronic units or systems in the car. So if
you install electronic units in cars, please always pay attention to the installation-guides and the warranty-
regulations of the car producer because otherwise the warranty will be lost. Because the changes in mass-
production of the cars, we also cannot guarantee, that the interface is suitable in all the above mentioned
combinations. To avoid risks, we advise you to contact the car producer or one of his dealers.
The cable kit is compatible with the following types of cars:
Opel Antara 2006-2018, Opel Astra H 2004-2009, Opel Corsa 2004-2007, Opel Meriva 2004-2009,
Opel Signum 2004-2018, Opel Tigra 2004-2018, Opel Vectra 2004-2018, Opel Zafira 2004-2010,
Seat Alhambra 2011-2018 Seat Altea 2004-2010, Seat Altea 2011-2018, Seat Cordoba 2004-2018,
Seat Ibiza 2009-2018: Not compatible, if the car is equipped with OEM hands free car kit.
Seat Leon 2005-2009, Seat Leon 2010-2012
Functional description
The following signals can be read out of the CAN data bus with this cable kit, if supported by the car:

Ignition (terminal 15, 500 mA maximum load!)

Illumination (terminal. 58, 100 mA maximum load!)

Speed impulse: square wave signal, 0,64 Hz per km/h (<5 mA maximum load!)

Reverse gear (depends on cars’ configuration, 100 mA maximum load!)
-
Steering wheel remote control (if exists) for units from different manufacturers (if exists)
Installation
Conncect the brown and black ISO Connector with your radio.
Attention: Sometimes are the red and yellow wires mixed. You can change them
with the integrated bullets in the wires.
