ASSEMBLY
Place the thermocontroller on ther DIN rail.
POWER SUPPLY
The device can be supplied with (220÷240) Volt AC ± 10% 50/60 Hz.
The power supply terminals are indicated with the abbreviation 8-9 and are also
shown in table TAB 1 at the end of the manual.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
• Power supply (220÷240) Volt AC 50/60 Hz. Terminal 8,9
• First PTC sensors group (alarm) Terminal 10,12
• Second PTC sensors group (pre alarm) Terminal 11,12
• External input signal Terminal 2
• Delayed external input signal Terminal 6
• Alarm off Terminal 6,3
• Alarm on Terminal 6,4
• Pre alarm off Terminal 6,5
• Pre alarm on Terminal 6,7
• Fault or power supply off (norm. open after about 2 sec.) Terminal 1,2
Recommended fuse (power side) 0.5 A.
Signal wire max 2.5 mm2, recommended 1.5 mm2.
OPERATING DESCRIPTION
On switch on the device, relays K2 and K3 immediately switch on, relay K1
switches some 2 seconds late and keeps available the input signal to terminal n.
2 through output to terminal n. 6.
These features allow to connect directly the release device to the alarm outputs
(terminal n. 3 and n. 5) without having undesired switching during the lighting
phase, in particular when the protection device is directly supplied by the machine
