5.2 Accessing the Upper Chassis
5.2.1
5.2.1 Opening the Upper Chassis Rear Door
Perform the following steps to open the upper chassis rear door and access the system modules.
1. Insert the upper chassis door key into the lock on the upper chassis of the system. Unlock and
open the door (see
Figure 5-6 ).
2. Refer to T/SOP to place the system in the proper mode for maintenance.
3. Refer to the appropriate section in this manual to access the desired component.
4. Refer to the appropriate operating manual listed in Appendix A for information on completing the
maintenance procedures for your system's modules.

5.2.2 Closing the Upper Chassis Rear Door
Perform the following steps to close the upper chassis rear door.
1. Release any mounting tray latches and push the mounting trays back into the system until they
latch in place.
2. Close and lock the upper chassis door (see Figure 5-7 ).
3. Tug gently on the rear door after it is closed to make sure it is properly closed.
