4.1 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Start-Up
Lift the cover (7) and insert two bottles full of drinking water into the proper
housing. Put the tubes in the two bottles. Make sure the AURABAR in your
possession complies with the local electrical distribution grid (220 V 50 Hz).
Insert the plug into a power outlet, press the switch (1) to start the coffee unit,
or the switch (3) to start the steam unit. Wait for the corresponding temperature
light (2 - 4) to be turned off.
To Dispense The Coffee
When the operating temperature is reached, rotate the lever (5) upwards,
insert a coffee pod into the extraction chamber (6), and take the lever back (5)
downward, by pressing firmly until you hear a click. Place a small cup or glass
under the outlet spout and activate
the coffee dispensing button (2). When it is weak as you desire, turn off the
coffee dispensing button (2) and, lifted the lever (5), remove the pod from the
extraction chamber.
To Dispense Steam
When the operating temperature is reached (light 4 off), immerse the steam
wand in a full cup for 2/3 of the liquid to be heated. Press and hold the steam
dispensing button (4) until the desired temperature is reached. N.B. Since the
heating of the steam unit is very rapid, we suggest to turn it on only when steam
is actually needed. By avoiding unnecessary and prolonged switching on, you will
save energy.
For A Perfect Cappuccino
Use dairy whole milk preferably, in a not very large cup filled up half of its
capacity. Dispense steam by inserting the wand terminal into the milk slightly.
During dispensing, immerse and make emerge the terminal continually and
quickly from the upper edge of the milk.
When the milk is whipped, dispense coffee in the same cup.
Please Note
The temperature lights (2 - 4) should be turned off only when you have just
switched on the machine, afterwards they are only indicative
