Connecting to the Network
Complete the following steps to connect the 2020 IMG to the network:
1.
Access the

BorderNet™ 2020 Integrated Multimedia Gateway WebHelp
at

2.
Refer to the Installing the Software section in the
Dialogic
®
BorderNet™ 2020
Integrated Multimedia Gateway WebHelp.
3.
Review the options for installing the software and choose the appropriate installation
method for your site.
4.
Install the software.
5.
Follow the instructions for configuring the IP address and setting the system software
file name as described in the
Dialogic
®
BorderNet™ 2020 Integrated Multimedia
Gateway WebHelp.
6.
Using a shielded Ethernet cable, connect CTRL 0 or CTRL 1 to your network Ethernet
switch. Use the CTRL Ethernet connectors on the rear of the 2020 IMG for network
management.
Depending on the configuration, the binary downloads from either an SD card or from an
FTP server that you configured. Once the binary downloads, you can begin the configuration
as described in the
Dialogic
®
BorderNet™ 2020 Integrated Multimedia Gateway WebHelp
.
You will connect the remaining cables as you configure the system.
