CHARACTERISTICS
These detectors are only compatible with the DIAGRAL TwinPass
®
(2 aerial) control panels.
●
Integrated magnetic contact: protects entrances (doors, windows, etc.).
●
2 year autonomy in normal domestic use with the 2 alkaline LR03 – 1.5 V (AAA)
batteries supplied.
●
Operating temperature: -5°C to +55°C.
INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
■
Install your detector:
●
inside the building,
●
on main entrances (main door, balcony doors, etc.),
●
on concealed entrances (roof windows, garage doors, etc.),
●
high up (around 2 m),
●
with the magnet preferably fitted to the hinged part of the door or window,
●
with the emitter box preferably fitted to the fixed part,
●
as far away as possible from the hinged side of the entrance to be protected. This
ensures that all door/window openings, even the slightest, will be detected,
●
on a flat surface.
■
Do not install your detector:
●
such that there is a space of more than 5 mm between the magnet and the emitter
box,
●
directly onto a metal surface,
NB: If the detector is to be fitted to a window or metal door, a 2 cm thick block of
wood or plastic must be placed underneath the emitter box. The supplied shims will
then be used to align the magnet with the emitter box.
