BIOS Setup

Advanced

The Advanced menu allows you to configure your system for basic operation.
Some entries are defaults required by the system board, while others, if enabled,

will improve the performance of your system or let you set some features ac-
cording to your preference.

Important:

Setting incorrect field values may cause the system to malfunction.

Watchdog Timer

This field is used to select the time interval of the Watchdog timer. If the system

hangs or fails to function, it will reset at the set time interval so that your sys-
tem will continue to operate.

Resume by PME

Enabled

This field should be set to Enabled only if your PCI card such as LAN card or
modem card uses the PCI PME (Power Management Event) signal to remotely
wake up the system. Access to the LAN card or PCI card will cause the sys

-

tem to wake up. Refer to the card’s documentation for more information.

Disabled

The system will not wake up despite access to the PCI card.
