Serial ATA Connectors
• SATA speed up to 1.5Gb/s
• RAID 0 and RAID 1
Connecting Serial ATA Cables
Connect one end of the Serial ATA cable to the Serial ATA
connector and the other end to your Serial ATA device.
Configuring RAID
The steps below describe configuring RAID on SATA 1 to SATA 4.
1. Run the Award BIOS setup utility then go to the Genie BIOS
Setting submenu - “PCI Device Control” section of the BIOS.
2. Select the Serial ATA ports you want enabled in the “Onboard
SATA Controller” field.
3. Set the “Onboard SATA Type” to RAID
.
4. Save and exit the BIOS then reboot the PC.
