BIOS Setup
3.1.8.13 Chipset Voltage Control
This field allows you to manually select higher voltage supplied
to the chipset. If you want to use the default voltage, leave this
field in its default setting.
Important:
Although this function is supported, we do not recommend that
you use a higher voltage because unstable current may be sup-
plied to the system board causing damage.
3.1.8.14 DRAM Voltage Control
This field allows you to manually select higher voltage supplied
to the DRAM. If you want to use the DRAM’s default voltage,
leave this field in its default setting.

3.1.8.15 BIOS Flash Protect
Enabled
This option will protect the system from unneces-
sary updating or flashing of the BIOS. When enabled,
it secures the BIOS therefore any updates to the
BIOS will not take effect.
Disabled
Disables the “BIOS flash lock” function, allowing you
to update or flash the BIOS any time needed.
3.1.8.16 nVidia Lan Chip Control
This field is used to enable or disable the LAN function of the
nVIDIA
®
nForce2 MCP-T chip that controls the LAN 1 por t.
3.1.8.17 nVidia Lan MAC Address
This field is used to select the MAC address of the nVIDIA
®
nForce2 MCP-T chip.
