The G586VSY AIO, equipped with a 321-pin Zero Insertion Force (ZIF)
CPU socket, is a fast Pentium processor system board supporting Intel
Pentium CPUs running at 75MHz, 90MHz, 100MHz, 120MHz, 133MHz,
150MHz, 166MHz and 200MHz frequencies. The G586VSY AIO also
supports Cyrix P120+, P133+, P150+, P166+ and P200+ CPUs.
The G586VSY AIO can support 8MB to 256MB of system memory us-
ing EDO or fast page mode x32/x36 (parity check) DRAM. This system
board also supports pipeline burst DRAM, and provides easy cache up-
grades using 256KB or 512KB cache modules.
The G586VSY AIO design is based on the Peripheral Component Inter-
connect (PCI) local bus and Industry Standard Architecture (ISA) stan-
dards in a riser card. It is equipped with 1 dedicated PCI slots, 2dedi-
cated ISA slot and 1 shared PCI/ISA slots in the riser card.
The G586VSY AIO board can support graphics using S3
(86C765) chip. It provides LPB (Local Peripheral Bus) connector for
MPEG or TV card upgrade.
The G586VSY AIO supports audio features using Yamaha OPL3-SA
FM synthesizer. It is upgradeable with wave table by either built-in
Yamaha OPL4-ML chip or a wave table daughterboard.
The G586VSY AIO board has two bus master PCI IDE connectors. Bus
mastering reduces CPU use during disk transfer. This system board is
also equipped with two NS16C550A-compatible serial ports, an SPP/
ECP/EPP parallel port, a IrDA header, a floppy disk drive controller,
one VGA analog connector, one LPB connector, one wave table con-
nector and one PS/2 keyboard connector.
