8.   Insert the CPU into the socket. The gold triangular mark on the CPU must align with the 

corner of the CPU socket as the photo shown below.

The CPU’s notch will at the same time fit into the socket’s alignment key.

Important:

The CPU will fit in only one orientation and can easily be inserted without exerting 

any force.

9.   Close the load plate then push the load lever down. 

 

While closing the load plate, make sure the front edge of the load plate slides under the 

retention knob.
