4.1.2. Input Slots and Ampliﬁers

IOLITE chassis can be conﬁgured with up to 12

slots, each featuring high-quality input ampliﬁers.

Currently, the following ampliﬁers are available:

●

6xSTG : universal analogue and strain gage

ampliﬁers. Compatible with Dewesoft smart

interface DSI adapters

●

8xTH : isolated thermocouple ampliﬁer

●

32xDI : 32 channel digital input

●

32xDO : 32 channel digital output with

watchdog

●

8xRTD: isolated ampliﬁers for measurements

with a resistance temperature detector

4.1.3. Redundant Power Supply

Each IOLITE system is equipped with a redundant

power supply completing the feature set for the

ideal and reliable front-end system.

If the primary power supply fails, the system will

be powered by a secondary power supply without

any interruption or system shutdown/restart.
