Inserting and Removing the Battery Pack
from the Tool (Fig. B)
WARNING:
Before removing or installing
battery, make certain the speed lock lever

is in the off
position to prevent switch actuation.
nOTE:
Make sure your battery pack

is fully charged.
To Install the Battery Pack into the Tool Handle
1. Align the battery pack

with the rails inside the tool’s
handle (Fig. B).
Blow Tube Assembly (Fig. B)
WARNING:
Do not operate blower without
tube securely in place. Never reach down into housing
through tube hole.
WARNING:
Always remove the battery when
you leave blower unattended or when storing, checking,
adjusting, cleaning, or working on blower.
1. To attach the blower tube

to the power head, align the
peg

of the power head with the notch

of the blower
tube opening as shown in Fig. B.
2. Push the blower tube onto the power head until the tube
locks engage the blower tube and an audible click is heard.
3. Pull on the tube to ensure it is securely in place.
4. To remove the tube, insert a screwdriver into the unlocking
hole

on the side of the blower tube. Depress the tab
inside and pull tube off.
Concentrator Assembly (Fig. C)
Use the concentrator

attachment to target air flow to a
tighter area.
1. Align the concentrator

with the tube assembly as shown
in Fig. C.
2. Slide the concentrator

onto the tube

3. Push down until the tabs

on both sides of the
tube engage the locking holes

to ensure it is securely in place.

2. Slide it into the handle until the battery pack is firmly seated
in the tool and ensure that you hear the lock snap into place.
To Remove the Battery Pack from the Tool
1. Press the release button

and firmly pull the battery pack
out of the tool handle.
2. Insert battery pack into the charger as described in the
charger section of this manual.
Fuel Gauge Battery Packs (Fig. B)
Some

WALT
battery packs include a fuel gauge which
consists of three green LED lights that indicate the level of
charge remaining in the battery pack.
To actuate the fuel gauge, press and hold the fuel gauge
button

. A combination of the three green LED lights will
illuminate designating the level of charge left. When the level
of charge in the battery is below the usable limit, the fuel gauge
will not illuminate and the battery will need to be recharged.
nOTE:
The fuel gauge is only an indication of the charge left on
the battery pack. It does not indicate tool functionality and is
subject to variation based on product components, temperature
and end-user application.
