Heated Jacket Safety Warnings
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in
electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
SAVE ALL WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS
FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
• Do not wear the heated jacket if the power button does not
turn it on and off.
Any heated jacket that cannot be controlled
with the power button is dangerous.
• Disconnect the battery from the power cable and remove
the battery pack and DCB091 USB power source from the
battery/power source pocket before storing or washing the
heated jacket.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk
of the heated jacket starting accidentally.
• This heated jacket is not to be worn by an infant, child,
helpless person, person with poor blood circulation or any
person with a sensitivity to overheating.
Store heated jackets
out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the heated jacket or these instructions to wear the heated
jacket.
• Use the heated jacket in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the environment the jacket is to be
worn.
Use of the heated jacket for operations different from those
intended could result in a hazardous situation.
• Some medical conditions, medical devices or medications
can cause sensitivity to heat.
Consult the device manufacturer
or/and your physician to determine if use of this product is
appropriate.
• Do not allow the heating elements to touch bare skin.
To
reduce the risk of injury, always wear a garment between the
heated jacket and bare skin.
• Turn off power to heated jacket immediately if any
discomfort occurs.
• Do not allow cord to get tangled in zipper. Before wearing
heated jacket ensure electrical wiring is not damaged or
pinched. Do not use if cord is damaged. Fire may result.
