2 - HOT WATER SUPPLY
This mixer tap is suitable for all hot water production systems. In the presence of non-modulating tankless
water heaters, the amount of hot water drawn must correspond to at least the minimum required by the water
heater to ignite and continue to operate (this minimum flow is specified by the water heater manufacturer).
Tankless water heaters with a power equal to or greater than 18 kW are suitable for use with this mixer tap.
As a general rule, tankless water heaters with lower powers may not operate correctly in combination with any
thermostatic mixer tap.
3 - OPERATING CONDITIONS
INCOMING HOT WATER TEMPERATURE
MAXIMUM: 80°C
MINIMUM: 10°C
RECOMMENDED: 65°C
The minimum difference between the hot water supply temperature and the maximum mixed water temperature
is 10°C.
SERVICE PRESSURES
MAXIMUM: 5 BAR
MINIMUM: 1 BAR
RECOMMENDED: 3 BAR
To ensure optimal mixer tap operation, it is important that the service pressures (hot and cold water) are as
balanced as possible. If the pressure exceeds 5 bar , a pressure reducer must be installed upstream of the
mixer tap.
4 - INSTALLATION
1) Before installing the mixer tap, let the water run through the pipes for a long time to make sure that there
are no foreign bodies that could obstruct the thermostatic cartridge filters. If you find any, you will need to
remove the filters and clean the cartridge (see page 23 6 - CARTRIDGE REMOVAL AND MAINTENANCE ).
2) To avoid damaging the recessed section and the surface of the external parts, we recommend not
removing the protective polystyrene.
3) Connect the hot water to the left mixer tap inlet (part marked HOT in red) and cold water to the right inlet
(part marked COLD in blue).
4) Complete all the connections. The mixer tap features a further outlet towards the bottom, for any
connection to side shower heads or bathtub spouts. If this outlet is used, an additional shut-off valve must
be installed between the mixer tap outlet and the point of use.
5 - OPERATION
Turning the mixing knob anti-clockwise increases the temperature of the mixed water. Turning it clockwise
decreases it.
6 - CARTRIDGE REMOVAL AND MAINTENANCE
1) Loosen the screw using a flat-blade screwdriver and pull the lever out in the direction indicated in the
drawing.
