LOW OIL PRESSURE LAMP
The Low Oil Pressure Lamp is controlled by DDEC VI..
The Low Oil Pressure Lamp remains ON:

For approximately

ve (5) seconds at the start of every ignition cycle
(a bulb check)

When a low oil pressure fault is detected
Requirements and Guidelines
The following requirements and guidelines apply to the Low Oil Pressure Lamp:

The Low Oil Pressure Lamp is optional.
□
A 12 volt light of less than 0.25 A (DC) is required depending on the ignition source.
Digital output circuits are designed to sink no more than 0.25 A (DC) current.
□
The Low Oil Pressure Lamp must be integrated into the instrument panel or placed in
clear view of the vehicle operator.
□
This output is wired to pin 3/12 of the CPC.

The options for this digital output are listed in Table 3-112.
