
Note:
If there is alreadC an existing DAB station stored under a preset number, the newlC stored DAB station
overwrites the preset.
Selecting a preset DAB radio station
In DAB mode:
1.
Press the PRESET button. ‘Preset Recall’ is displaCed together with the current preset number.
2.
Press the PREV or NEXT button to select a preset DAB radio station.
3.
Press the SELECT button to confirm. The preset DAB radio station begins to broadcast.
Note:
If no DAB station is stored under a preset number, ‘Preset EmptC’ is displaCed, then the previouslC selected
DAB radio station is broadcast.
FM Radio
Check that the boom box is in FM radio mode. If not, press brieflC the
/MODE button until the FM mode is selected
(check the displaC). When listening to FM radio stations, RDS (Radio Data SCstem) information can be displaCed if the
radio station is broadcast with RDS information. RDS information normallC includes the station name, details about the
program and the current time.
Manually storing FM radio stations
The boom box can store up to 10 FM radio stations for instant access to Cour favorite radio stations.
1.
In FM radio mode, tune to a FM radio station that Cou wish to preset.
2.
Press and hold the PRESET button for approximatelC 2 seconds until ‘Preset Store’ is displaCed.
3.
Press the PREV or NEXT button to allocate a number (1-10) to the current FM radio station.
4.
Press the SELECT button to confirm. ‘Preset X stored’ is displaCed (‘X’ is the number of the preset).

CD Mode
Check that the boom box is in CD mode. If not, press brieflC the
/MODE button until the CD mode is selected (check
the displaC). ‘NO DISC’ is displaCed if no disc is in the CD compartment.
Playing a CD
1.
Lift up the lid of the CD compartment on the top panel. ‘OPEN’ is displaCed.
2.
Place an audio CD into the CD compartment, with the label side facing up.
3.
Close the lid of the CD compartment. ‘READING.’ is displaCed.
4.
CD plaCback starts automaticallC. The current track number and the elapsed time of the current track are displaCed.
CD playback control
In CD mode, Cou can use the following controls on the boom box.
•
During CD plaCback, press the PLAY button to start or pause plaC. In pause mode the elapsed time of the current track
flashes.
•
During CD plaCback, press the PREV or NEXT button to select a previous or next track.
•
During CD plaCback, press the STOP button to stop plaCback.
Listen to an external device
You can listen to an external audio device through the speakers of the boom box.
1.
Using an audio cable with 3.5mm plug (not included), connect the Line In jack on the boom box to the headphone jack
on an external audio device.
2.
Press brieflC the
/MODE button until the AUX mode is selected (check the displaC).
3.
Start to plaC the external device.
