Outer spray and wipe disinfection is permissible using tow-
els impregnated with a disinfecting and detergent solution(a
bactericidal, fungicidal, and aldehyde free solution) ap-
proved by either VAH/DGHM-listing, CE marking, FDA, or
Health Canada.
Subsequently, sterilization is to be carried out according to
section 7.6.
