Bluetooth

®

-disconnect scanning

 

Scanning is possible when Bluetooth

®

 wireless communication has been disconnected. This function is used when scanning a 

code will suffice and data transfer is not necessary. For example, it can be used in data verification mode for scanner-only 
determination without sending verification results to the host computer. 

The function can only be switched with the QR-coded parameter menu.

:    When “Bluetooth

 disconnect scanning” is enabled, it will remain enabled even if “End operation” or “Start 

operation” QR-coded parameter menus are scanned. To cancel, the “Cancel Bluetooth

®

-disconnect scanning” QR 

code in 

Section 13.2

 must be read following the procedure in 

Section 13.1

. 

 

Auto-power off

 

The user can select the timing with which the scanner will automatically turn off (5 min-640 min intervals of 5 min) when the 
scanner is not used for a certain length of time. The user can also disable auto-power off. This function can only be set with 
the configuration software (ScannerSetting_2D).
