Installing and Removing SIM Card/microSD Card
BHT-1800 Handy Terminal is equipped with one microSD card slot. WWAN model is equipped with two
SIM card slots as well.
Installation of a card
1.
Remove the battery cover as described in battery removal.
2.
Insert the cards into the respective slots in the directions indicated. Push the cards to lock them in.
Note that when you insert the cards into the slots, the metal contact sides of SIM card should face
upwards, while those of microSD card should face downwards.
3.
Place the battery cover back and push the battery cover lock to the
“
Lock
”
position.
Supporting card
1.
Both SIM1 and SIM2 card slots support 2G/3G/4G cards. However, 3G/4G data can be transmitted
on either SIM, but not on both at the same time. For details on managing dual SIM cards, refer to
SIM Card Management (WWAN Model Only) in the Software User
’
s Manual.
2.
SIM1 card or SIM2 card relevant functions are only supported on WWAN model. For more details on
specification-wise differences between WWAN model and WLAN model, please refer to
Specifications.
Removal of cards
1.
Remove the battery cover.
2.
Push a card to eject it from its slot, and take it out of the slot.
3.
Place the battery cover back and push the battery cover lock to the
“
Lock
”
position.
