1) Installation
1.1) Windscreen or dash mounting
Follow the steps shown on the fi gures (Fig 1 - 15)
1.2) Cable Connections
If you want to use AUX audio connection to your car, connect the
cables as shown on Fig 16/A
If you want to use FM audio connection to your car, connect the cable
as shown on Fig 16/B
If your car has an AUX input, it is suggested to use the AUX con-
nection.
1.3) Handsfree setup (pairing)
To use the handsfree functionality, it is necessary to pair your iPhone
with the Car Dock via Bluetooth:
a. Enter the Bluetooth Settings menu of your iPhone
b. Switch on the Bluetooth in the Bluetooth Settings menu of your
iPhone
c. Dock your iPhone in the Car Dock
d. ’Car Dock for iPhone’ will appear in the device list of the Bluetooth
Settings menu of your iPhone
e. Connect to the ’Car Dock for iPhone’ device
f. Enter the Bluetooth PIN code of the Car Dock for iPhone: 8888
1.4) FM transmitter setup
If you want to use FM audio connection to your car, you will need an
installed ‘Car Dock Mode’ app or ‘iGO primo app’ on your iPhone,
which is available to download from the iTunes App Store.
• Search for a free FM frequency on your car radio
• Dock your iPhone in the Car Dock
• Launch the ‘Car Dock Mode’ app or ‘iGO primo app’
• Enter the settings menu of the ‘Car Dock Mode’ app or ‘iGO primo app’
Set the same FM frequency like you have set on your car radio.
At the fi rst usage it is necessary to set the region too:
In the Car Dock Mode app set
• US for the US and such countries where FCC regulation is applied
• EU for the EU and such countries where CE regulation is applied
2) Usage
2.1) Audio
If your iPhone is docked in the Car Dock, its audio output (music,
phone calls and app audio) is transmitted to the car. To hear it, you
need to select the appropriate audio source on your car radio (AUX,
if you use the AUX cable, or the appropriate FM frequency if you use
the FM transmitter)
2.2) Handsfree
To have the handsfree functionality, it is necessary to establish also a
Bluetooth connection between the iPhone and the Car Dock.
The iPhone will automatically connect to the Car Dock also via Blue-
tooth whenever you dock it.* The Bluetooth will be disconnected
when you undock the iPhone.
* The Bluetooth connection requires:
• Pairing before the fi rst usage (see Section 1.3)
• iPhone Bluetooth switched on
3) App
3.1) Car Dock Mode
The ‘Car Dock Mode’ app is free to download in the iTunes App
Store. It provides a driver-friendly user interface for the main iPhone
functions.

5) Warranty
Dension devices carry a two-years limited warranty that protects
you from defects in material and workmanship of products sold by
Dension or its authorized distributors and retailers. Dension
does not warrant any installation work or assume liability for any
damage caused due to negligence, improper installation or operation.
For warranty claims, proof of purchase is required.
6) Regulatory

Dension Audio Systems declares that the product named ‘Car Dock
for iPhone’ complies with Radio & Telecommunication Terminal
Equipment Directive (R&TTE) (1999/5/EC), the Electromagnetic
Compatibility Directive (2004/108/EC) and the Low Voltage Directive
(2006/95/EC) - issued by the Commission of the European Community.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for modifi cations made
by the user and the consequences thereof, which may alter the
conformity of the product with the CE Marking.
USA – FCC Compliance Statement
‘Car Dock for iPhone’ has been tested and found to comply
with the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of
the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This
equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy
and if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions,
may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to
radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that
to which the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
