For file operation using the RC-F400S, 2 modes are available: file-list mode and hot-start list
mode.
1. File-list mode: Press the FILE LIST button.
• In file-list mode, a file is selected from the file list and is played.
• NOT PLAY setting: Set the files not to be played.
• ENABLE setting: Cancel the NOT PLAY setting.
2. Hot-start list mode: Press the HOT LIST button.
In hot-start list mode, the hot-start list can be checked.
According to the operation mode, the following is shown on the display unit.

A file-list is being loaded from the DN-F400.
Not Connected
Not connected. The cable is disconnected.
Not Supported
A device other than the DN-F400 is connected.
No Card
An SD card insertion is not detected.

Please select HOT START button
Files are set on the hot-start list.
Completed
Displayed after setting is completed.

File-list mode
1.Normal playback
If a file with the extension “m3u”(playlist file) is not found under the root in SD card, playback
is in normal playback mode.
