Congratulations on your purchase of this premium CO2 fertilization system by Dennerle. When used and cared for properly,

this system gives you a convenient, reliable and precise way to supply your aquarium with CO2, the most important fertilizer

for aquarium plants.

Safety regulations for carbon dioxide (CO

) bottles

CAUTION

•

Contains pressurised gas; can explode if heated.

•

Protect against direct sunlight. Keep in a well-ventilated place.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Handle with care. Do not throw. Do not open with force.

•

Store in a cool place. Protect against temperatures over 50 °C. Do not store in the cellar.

• Do not breathe in CO

2 gas; it has an asphyxiating effect in high concentrations. In case of gas

escaping, ventilate the room well.

•

Use only for providing CO2 supply to aquariums.

• CO

2 withdrawal only with suitable pressure reducer with TR21-4 connection thread, e.g. pressure

reducer Dennerle Carbo Soda.

• Perform CO

2 extraction only from upright bottles. Secure bottle to prevent from falling over.

•

Be careful when transporting single bottles in vehicles: Make sure they are well-secured to

prevent them from slipping and rolling around, otherwise the valve can be damaged and CO2

gas can escape. Ensure adequate ventilation.

• The CO

2 bottle contained in the set can only be replaced by a standard Soda bottle of the same

type.

•

If you notice that there is a danger from the CO2 pressurized gas cartridge, immediately inform the dealer from

whom you purchased it.

For indoor use at room temperature only.

The device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capacity,

lack of experience, and/or lack of knowledge, unless someone who is responsible for their safety provides supervision

or instructions on how to use the equipment. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

device.

1 Correct use

The CO

2 fertilization system is used to supply aquariums with CO2 to promote plant growth. Correct use includes observing

and complying with these operating instructions. Using the device in any way other than that intended or carrying out any

unauthorised repairs or modifications shall be deemed improper use. Improper use can lead to material damage and per

sonal injury. Dennerle GmbH assumes no liability for damage caused by improper use.
