The 1290 Adventure DialDim Harness will be connected in-line to the three
following factory harness connectors:
Headlight, Tail Light & Horn
Step One:
To gain access to the connectors, remove the Headlight, and
seat.
Step Two:
The headlight connector of the 1290 Adventure is located on
the back of the factory headlight housing, it is a black 20-pin connector.
Disconnect the factory headlight connector, then connect the “Headlight
Pass-Through Connector” of the DialDim Harness in-line.
Step Three:
The tail light connector is located inside the tail section. It is a
white 6-pin connector. Disconnect the factory tial light connector, then
connect the “Tail Light Pass-Through Connector” of the DialDim Harness
in-line.
Step Four:
The horn connector is located directly on the factory horn,
which is located at the center of the motorcycle, just below the headlight..
Disconnect the factory horn connector with the RED wire then, connect the
“Horn Pass-Through Connector” of the DialDim Harness in-line.
