Operating manual for LT series cooling water heat exchanger 

15. In case of emergency

Immediately cut off power supply to the installation
-switch off main switch
-Pull out power plug
-Unscrew fuses or switch them off (Automata)

Filling in cooling fluid:
Only the prescribed R134a

or

R407c cooling fluids should be used - observe max. filling level!

The R134a and 407c cooling fluids are CFC-free. Before maintenance work on the cold circuit
of the unit, it should be drained and the cooling fluid disposed of adequately.
Cooling fluids, oils, etc. and parts may only be disposed of and filled in/installed by expert and
certified companies.

Personal protection equipment
In case of larger cooling fluid leaks, enter the machine room with a gas-mask or breathing
protection if necessary.
Protect the face and hands from direct contact with cooling fluid. EN 378 Parts 2 and 3 are to be
observed!
The accident prevention directive BGR 500 chap. 2.35 "Protective equipment against cooling
fluids" should be observed.
